Fundraiser Guidelines
How Franklins Fundraisers Work
- Franklins fundraisers are a fun and effective way of raising money for your school or non-profit organization.
- Fundraisers are held on selected Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year. The organization selects a date from a list of available dates. The organization may choose only one day per calendar year for their Franklins fundraiser.
- On the day of the Fundraiser, patrons must turn in their itemized receipts to the host and ask that their receipt be added to the fundraiser. Franklins will tally the fundraiser receipts (before taxes) and donate 20% of the total to the organization.
- The fundraiser lasts all day and includes dining, carryout and general store purchases.
Fundraiser Rules
- Due to limited availability, fundraisers must be scheduled at least one month in advance. Fundraising days fill up quickly so organizations should schedule the fundraiser as early as possible.
- The restaurant will be open to other patrons during the fundraising day. Seating cannot be guaranteed for large parties. Even though it is the organizations’ scheduled fundraiser day, Franklins cannot give preferential seating. While we will make an effort to comply with all seating requests, it may not always be possible ot seat groups/families near each other. Please see the host for a table.
- Organizations will not be permitted to hand out flayers or solicit receipts/donations from other patrons. All advertising must be done prior to the fundraiser and not on Franklins property. Doing so may result in the forfeiture of the organization’s entire donation.
- It is the responsibility of the organization to ensure that all those participating in the fundraiser know to give their itemized receipt to the host. Franklins will not be responsible for reminding guests to turn in their receipt. Each receipt will only be counted once. Duplicate checks will be discarded.
A special note for organizations with small children
While Franklins is a family-friendly restaurant that prides itself in being fun for both old and young, it is not a playground. There are employees carrying heavy trays and hot plates in and out of the kitchen and up and down the stairs. Please do not allow your children to run in the restaurant or play on the staircase. Also, please remember that children are not allowed in the store without supervision.
